Models, maps and websites that make data useful.

Amadu Kamal is a data analyst and software engineer based in Ghana. Through Model Analysis Hub, he turns raw numbers into forecasts, risk maps and dashboards, and builds websites that organisations can run themselves.

Services

Three kinds of work, one goal: decisions you can defend.

Every project starts with the question that needs answering. The method comes second, and results are checked against real outcomes before they are handed over.

Statistical & predictive models

Forecasts and risk models built on sound statistics, then tested against what actually happened so you know how far to trust them.

R · Python · NumPy · SciPy
e.g. model validation for malaria prevalence

Geospatial analysis

Maps that show where a problem is concentrated, so money, staff and supplies go to the places that need them most.

ArcGIS · Spatial mapping
e.g. malaria risk across Ghana

Websites & dashboards

Websites, dashboards and web apps that put the numbers in front of the people who need them, in a form they will actually use.

JavaScript · React · SQL
e.g. The Sunshine Project website

Client work

A website an NGO can run on its own.

The latest client project: a live website for a Ghanaian charity, set up so their own staff keep it current without calling a developer.

The Sunshine Project.

A full website for The Sunshine Project, a Ghanaian NGO working with children, young people and women through health, education and mental well-being programmes.

  • Designed and built the whole site: programmes, impact, stories, opportunities and a support page with Mobile Money
  • Added a simple admin login so the team can post programmes, schedules and photos themselves, without touching the design
  • Fast on phones, easy to read, and live on the web

Research work

Mapping malaria risk across Ghana.

A spatial model that combines climate and population data to estimate malaria risk for each region, and how likely each region is to cross a high-burden threshold.

Map of Ghana showing predicted malaria risk by region, with the highest risk in the Ashanti and Western regions
Fig. 1Predicted malaria risk by region, relative ranking. Darker regions carry the highest predicted risk.

Health teams can't be everywhere at once. The point of this model is to rank Ghana's regions by predicted malaria risk, so bed nets, testing and treatment can be planned around where the burden is likely to be heaviest.

QuantAI · free tool

Plan the study. Analyse the data. Reproduce every number.

QuantAI is a free research and statistics tool from Model Analysis Hub. It checks the assumptions, picks the right test, shows every rule it applied, and writes the result up for you.

  • Study design, sample size and test selection by fixed rules
  • t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square and non-parametric tests, chosen by assumption checks
  • Linear, logistic and Poisson regression with crude and adjusted estimates
  • Forecasts that pick up seasonal patterns, plus Stata, Python, R and SPSS code
  • Your file stays on your device. An optional AI assistant explains results from a summary.

About

Good analysis shouldn't stay locked in a report. It belongs in front of the people making the decision.

Amadu pairs two skills that rarely sit in one person: the statistics to build a model you can trust, and the engineering to turn it into something people use every day. That combination runs through all of Model Analysis Hub's work, from malaria risk maps for Ghana to a live website for an NGO.
